Breathing functionally in sports can mean all the difference to you. The Oxygen Advantage™ (OA) technique for sports is called Simulation of High-altitude Training, and simulates training at an altitude of 4,000-5,000 meters (13,000-16,400 ft).
We train this by perfecting the functional breathing skills taught for everyday performance and improving oxygen uptake. Then we combine techniques involving breath holds and movement.
The OA™ breath holds that I teach increase the concentration of carbon dioxide in the blood and lowers blood oxygen levels, this combination increases the athletes tolerance to CO2 (the primary trigger to breathe), thus helping them to perform for longer.

* do more activity, with less breaths
* exercise for longer duration, at a higher intensity
