Where it all began.

For much of my life, the concept of meditation seemed elusive and out of reach. The idea of sitting still for extended periods and attempting to clear my mind felt impossible. As an Irish person, meditation wasn’t something that seemed to be part of our traditional practices. However, everything changed when my health took a nosedive in 2021. It lead me on a journey of exploration and discovery that ultimately introduced me to the transformative power of breathwork.

During this challenging period, my health was in turmoil. My gut health was compromised, and some of my organs were struggling to cope. I realised that I needed to explore various avenues to regain control of my well-being. While breathwork was not a direct solution to my medical issues, it became a crucial support in my healing journey.

Now, is breathwork some kind of black magic or a silver bullet for all ailments? The answer is no. Breathwork is not a mystical cure-all, but it is undoubtedly a legitimate wellness tool. One that has the potential to bring about significant and positive changes in our lives.

What I’ve learned.

So, what exactly does breathwork do? Maybe it would be more beneficial to list some of its transformative benefits:
